Understood.
I intended my reply to be a little more light hearted than it may have come accross (must learn to use emoticons more effectively).
We're both paying the same price, we're both saying the same thing so we're both on the same side (<hey look, I did it)

Is it some sort of Internet Magik? O.o
Regarding the subject of the thread: I really really dislike this new Store. I read Gaile's comment that name could be an example of service offered.
I don't want this store to become the next step in not doing things right...
I can see development going towards
Developer 1: "Hey guys this feature I have imagined is great for the fun factor, it will just be a little tricky to implement, but with some work..."
Developer 2: "Oh wait, wth, it's not a game-balance issue. Just make people pay for that."
Developer 3: "Even better! Make it available temporarily, so that ppl will see how nice it is"
Developer 2: "U n00b! We'll make a watered down version publicly available (a stylist changer with limited options, some minigames with limited prizes and games) and have the real thing available at store."
Developer 1: "Yay! Let's make some title linked to it, so more people will get caught!"
*developers start updating productions notes for Ch. X

I think that, in the post you've mentioned, the only thing linked to paying money was the improved storage. Gaile mentioned it also in this thread (paying for a storage tab dedicated to event items)

Your not the only one that need to use emotes more
I get really frustrated with the idea of paying more than I should. The other thing is I was fine with the idea of buying extra slots and even storage space but its the whole 'pimp my guild wars' idea in general that frustrates me. Its a trend the gaming industry really doesn't need for example Battlefield 2 and its boosters packs which are an utter joke in my opinion, they spent that much time making a patches worth of content and trying to sell it that they ignored the serious problems the game itself has. I know these are optional but I would rather see things fixed in the product we payed for first and I would hate Guild Wars to follow this trend.
Wow I sound like a grumpy old git lol

Ebay song ftw :P But personally I think, yeah paypal should be accepted, but ALONG WITH Uk debit cards, such as Maestro, Switch, Solo, as I have rarely been able to use my card online, and has previously reverted to my inability to pay.

Is this true? I've been told different. I've been told they only accept.. Visa/MC/Amex/Amex Corporate/Discover and JCB only are the plaync options.
Ashleigh

o.O Sweet. I don't have a maestro exactly, but it's based as Maestro. It's a splash plastic 360 prepaid maestro, works the same as one, I've used itn under "maestro" before on other games, like runescape, and on internet shop sites, and it seems to work fine. I hope it isn't an different.
Thanks alot, you put me out of my misery :P

Hope so - never got a chance to check last night but PlayNC takes Maestro and Solo and they're using PlayNC for the account then they should be taking it...otherwise there'll be lots of ppl not buying anything in the UK

Anyone know if Maestro (or a similar service) is available to under-18s with parental permission?

Ok cool thanks. I only hope the store isn't only linked to the US Plaync, as I don't think the US side accepts maestro, I may be wrong.
But thanks again Gert, I was trying to figure out other alternatives until then

Solo is the "younger" version of Maestro - NatWest and HSBC are the 2 UK banks who do it...
